Therapy to keep you strong and well balanced

As we age, our bodies undergo age-related changes that can lead to reduced strength, stiff joints, fatigue and poor balance.

It’s common to have more than one medical condition, which can make things more complicated. This all impacts on your ability to do day to day activities such as walking, climbing the stairs, housework and hobbies.

Loss of physical function can also lead to falls or the fear of falling. Subsequently, your independence and your ability to enjoy life can be affected. Our therapists offer a thorough initial assessment and bespoke treatment plans to assist you.

A plan might include:

  • Building muscle strength
  • Improving exercise tolerance
  • Improving balance
  • Preventing falls
  • Increasing confidence
  • Preventing joint stiffness

Clients are provided with advice, individualised exercise programmes and support with activities which are meaningful to them.
