FES pace and Bioness L100/300

The FES pace and Bioness L100/300 are advanced therapeutic devices used in rehabilitation. FES (Functional Electrical Stimulation) pace is a system that delivers electrical stimulation to specific muscles to facilitate movement and improve muscle strength and coordination.

The Bioness L100/300 is a wearable device that helps individuals with neurological impairments regain mobility by providing functional electrical stimulation to the affected muscles. These devices are often used in the treatment of conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injury, and multiple sclerosis to enhance motor recovery and improve functional abilities.

Available for trials and purchase.

Orthotics and foot splints

Orthotics are vital in neurorehabilitation, offering support and assistance to individuals with neurological conditions. Devices like ankle-foot orthoses (AFOs) manage foot drop, correct gait abnormalities, and stabilize joints affected by spasticity.

Additionally, orthotics relieve pressure and prevent complications such as pressure ulcers. By addressing specific functional impairments, orthotics enhance mobility, stability, and overall quality of life for patients undergoing neurorehabilitation.

Walking aids

We can arrange for the purchase and delivery of smaller aids( frames, crutches, and Nordic walking poles) or can hire out larger walking frames, such as pulpit frames and gutter walkers for rehabilitation sessions

Larger walking equipment

Parallel bars are essential in rehabilitation, providing support and stability for patients during gait training and balance exercises. They aid in improving mobility, strength, and confidence in individuals recovering from neurological and orthopaedic conditions.

Transfer aids: Sara steady and Return

Transfer aids like Sara Steady and Return are often required initially when discharged from hospital to ensure safe discharge and prevent falls. They assist individuals with mobility challenges in moving between surfaces, enhancing safety and independence during transfers from hospital beds to wheelchairs or standing positions.
